Later, as an accountant in the financial, world Brian was surprised to find that this pattern-based thinking was all but absent.
A background in development projects - advised on the creation and operation of sustainable projects in Kenya for the Commonwealth Development Corporation. As a business advisor has helped investor companies in a failed UK venture capital fund to steer their way through recession without more money. Brian later set up and ran a fast-acting development and venture capital fund within the Midland Bank Group, building up a portfolio of 60 investments over 8 years.
